Songwon strengthens its presence in the Middle East and Africa

Songwon Industrial Co. Ltd., a global leader in polymer additives, is pleased to announce the opening of its headquarters for the Middle East and Africa in Bahrain. The opening of the Songwon Industrial Company Limited – Representative Office follows the recent establishment of Songwon’s local warehouse facilities, also in Bahrain. The new regional facility will be lead by Peter Fleming (Photo) who has been nominated Sales Director Middle East and Africa.

Peter has held a number of key positions at Chemtura Corporation, formerly Great Lakes Chemicals, where he led their Asia Pacific business as well as having product, sales and distribution management experience in the EMEA region. Prior to that Peter was responsible for a number key commercial activities also in Asia Pacific and EMEA for Polysar Corporation which was acquired by Bayer AG. Most recently Peter has put his unique experience to good use as a management consultant at Oriental Pacific Consulting PTE Ltd.
