Ticona to build a new world-scale 20 kT GUR® UHMW-PE plant in Asian
 The site selection process in the Asia/Pacific region is in an advanced stage. Preliminary engineering work is complete, and plans for final engineering and construction are underway. Ticona, the world’s leading producer of UHMW-PE, also operates state-of-the art GUR® UHMW-PE facilities in Bishop, Texas and Oberhausen, Germany. Advert “The Asian investment will meet growing demand for GUR® UHMW-PE and further extend our global manufacturing capabilities for an expanded product range. It also demonstrates our long-term commitment to this important growth region for Ticona,” stated David Postolowski, Global GUR® Business Director.
