Trinseo: Price Increase Polystyrene, Polycarbonate and Copolymers

Trinseo and its affiliate companies in Europe announced today a price increase for all polystyrene (PS), polycarbonate (PC), ABS and SAN grades. Effective August 1, 2021, or as existing contract terms allow, the contract and spot prices for the products listed below will increase as follows:
  • STYRON™ general purpose polystyrene grades (GPPS) by +45 Euro per metric ton
  • STYRON™ and STYRON A-Tech™, STYRON C-Tech™ and STYRON X- Tech™ high impact polystyrene grades (HIPS) by +60 Euro per metric ton
  • CALIBRE™ Polycarbonate Resins by +100 Euro per metric ton
  • MAGNUM™ ABS resins by +130 Euro per metric ton
  • TYRIL™ SAN resins by +90 Euro per metric ton
