Windsor Kunststofftechnologie: Peter Kochs strengthens the distribution of JSW injection moulding machines

Since July 1, 2008, Peter Kochs (Photo) has been the new Account Manager JSW at Windsor Kunststofftechnologie GmbH (www.windsor-gmbh.de), the official distribution partner of JSW (Japan Steel Works Ltd.). It is his task to build up further power in the sale of JSW injection moulding machines.

Peter Kochs, age 41, has already been active in the plastics industry since 1984. At the beginning, he was responsible for production, maintenance and service; he has been gaining experience with electric injection moulding machines by renowned manufacturers since 1996. He eventually settled in the business sector distribution, via application engineering. Kochs is now employed as JSW Account Manager at Windsor Kunststofftechnologie since the beginning of July 2008. "I am convinced of the capability of the organisation", emphasises Kochs. He envisages significantly better success rates in the market for Windsor than for the competition. Kochs continues: "We have a competent team and convincing products. As an industry insider, I am repeatedly astounded by Windsor´s ability to deliver even very large injection moulding machines within relatively short periods of time. Both the quality and the broad spectrum of the machines, combined with an extremely engaged customer service and support team, constituted the decisive factors for my move to Windsor."

Effective immediately, Kochs will be responsible for the sales region Northern Germany in particular, as well as The Netherlands and Belgium as additional regions. The 41-year old Kochs defines his strategy thus: "You have to spread yourself across the market, not just address the large organisations, but diversify; because smaller companies with innovative powers are also part of our target market. We shall use our strengths to convince as many potential customers as possible of the efficiency of all-electric injection moulding machines." Kochs is confident: "We are able to offer the entire range of that which is required by users of injection moulding technology. Now it is my task to familiarise customers and prospects with the quality of JSW machines and the performance of the Windsor team. "

It is the aim of Windsor and JSW to become leaders in the marketing of all-electric horizontal machines across band widths of between 350kN and 25.000kN, as well as of all-electric vertical machines manufactured by JSW. Following the successful début of the Windsor and JSW partnership at the K-Fair last year, customer contacts are to be further strengthened. However, several manufacturers of large all-electric machines share the market, but Windsor and JSW are determined to secure the shortest possible delivery times for the expected increased demand. There are already machines in the ranges of medium to high clamping force in their pre-planning process, ready for delivery ex stock Germany.
