Kreyenborg Group: New Company in the Group Page

With the Kreyenborg Plant Technology GmbH & Co. KG (www.kreyenborg-group.de) the Kreyenborg Group, a world wide supplier of machines and components for the plastics processing industry, welcomes its fourth member. The newly founded company will both force the previous activities of the Kreyenborg GmbH in the business fields infrared- and plant technology and also carry out high quality sheet metal and stainless steel forming – also in the job order production.

Already for more than 40 years the Kreyenborg GmbH from Germany supplies mixers, special silos and extruder feeding systems to customers all over the world. Furthermore the company focuses on the innovative field of infrared technology for some years. Integrated in the Kreyenborg infrared dryer IRD, the company provides for an especially efficient thermal treatment of bulk goods. Heating, drying and crystallizing is effected in minutes rather than hours. In addition, in comparison to conventional systems, the energy consumption is extremely low.

In future these business fields will be carried out by Kreyenborg Plant Technology. The company will continue these tasks with its complete know how and the customary quality. There were several reasons for the outsourcing. „Thus we are in a position to optimise the handling of the market and to open up a new clientele“, explains Jan-Udo Kreyenborg, manager of Kreyenborg GmbH. „Furthermore, owing to our dynamic growth in all fields, we have reached our capacity limits in the parent plant.“

Three production halls will offer the necessary space for the mix of innovative and traditional products. Beyond the previous spectrum, the young company will be active in additional fields of the steel-, aluminium- and stainless steel forming. As part of the new company, the corresponding fundament is built by a high-quality supplier for the stainless steel and aluminium forming, who has been taken over by the Kreyenborg Group in 2007. The production will be effected sorted by material in separate halls, from which one is still under construction at present and will be finished in November 2008.

In future Kreyenborg GmbH as world market leader for screen changers will fully concentrate on its growing core business filter, pumps and valves. Additionally to the most different filters, which offer the right solution for every application, further on melt pumps and valves for extrusion and polymerisation will be manufactured. BKG Bruckmann & Kreyenborg Granuliertechnik GmbH, one of the leading suppliers of underwater pelletizing systems and BSG Bruckmann Steuerungstechnik GmbH, specialised in automatisation solutions, are further companies of the Kreyenborg
Group.

Together with the Kreyenborg Group, the Kreyenborg Plant Technology will present itself and its business activities for the first time at the Fakuma 2008.
