Unicor: Strategic Partnership with Olmas

The German Unicor GmbH and the Italian Olmas S.r.L. have agreed on a long-term strategic partnership. Both companies are among the leading European specialists in plant and mechanical engineering for the production of plastic corrugated pipes. With the agreement signed in Milan on October 24th, they are pooling their technical know-how, market knowledge, and development expertise to leverage mutual synergies and further strengthen their international competitiveness.

Objectives and Priorities of the Cooperation
By combining their resources, Unicor and Olmas aim to provide an expanded technology and service portfolio and increase innovation power within this industrial segment. Both partners will remain legally and organizationally independent but plan to collaborate under a common strategic guideline in the future. This guideline is intended to facilitate close coordination in development, manufacturing, and sales, while simultaneously safeguarding entrepreneurial independence.

Continuity and Generational Change
Olmas’ management is set to lead the company for at least three more years to ensure continuity and expertise. At the same time, plans are underway to integrate the next generation of the Bianchi family into the company management. This is intended to continue the combination of tradition, technical competence, and innovation orientation.

Unicor GmbH, based in Hassfurt (Bavaria, Germany), is a company of the GAW Group (Graz, Austria) and has specialized in machines for manufacturing plastic corrugated pipes for over 40 years. Unicor machines are used worldwide in construction, environmental technology, and the automotive industry.

Olmas S.r.L., based in Carate Brianza (Italy), is a family-run company with over 60 years of experience in the development and manufacturing of extrusion lines for plastic corrugated pipes. The company stands for flexible, practical machine solutions and an internationally established market position.
