KraussMaffei Extrusion: Xinting Ren to Take Over as Managing Director

Effective September 1, 2026, Xinting Ren will take over as Managing Director of KraussMaffei Extrusion (KME). He succeeds Ralf Benack, who will leave the company at his own request on August 31, 2026. Ren will assume the new role in addition to his current position as Managing Director of KraussMaffei China (KMCN).

Benack took over the management of KraussMaffei Extrusion in 2024 and was also globally responsible for the KraussMaffei Group’s extrusion business. During his tenure, a key focus was on improving operational processes and customer orientation. According to the company, delivery times were reduced and the Technology Center at the Laatzen site was further developed. The facility currently offers 26 pilot lines for development and customer projects. The technology portfolio in the extrusion segment was also expanded.

With the appointment of Xinting Ren, KraussMaffei is filling the position internally. Ren has headed KraussMaffei China for the past three years and is responsible for the company’s cross-technology activities in the Chinese market. The dual role is intended to strengthen the integration of the company’s extrusion activities with its international structures.

Before joining KraussMaffei, Ren served, among other positions, as Assistant General Manager of KraussMaffei Company Limited, which now operates under the name Sinochem Equipment Technology Qingdao Co. He also held various management positions in the chemical industry. Most recently, he was General Manager of Shanxi China Coal Pingshuo Energy Chemical Co., Ltd.

The change in leadership brings Benack’s roughly two-year tenure at the helm of KraussMaffei Extrusion to an end. From September, organizational responsibility for the extrusion business and management of the China business will be combined under Ren’s leadership.
