Polymer demand continues to be strong, while supply remains tight and inventory levels throughout the supply chain are low. Based on this situation, Dow Europe GmbH (www.dow.com) is announcing a price increase across the European region for all polyethylene and polypropylene resins. Effective January 1, 2005, Dow Europe will increase prices by 100 Euro per metric ton for all grades of its low-density polyethylene (LDPE) resins and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resins, DOWLEX* polyethylene resins, ATTANE* ultra low density polyethylene (ULDPE) copolymers, ELITE* enhanced polyethylene resins, ASPUN* fiber grade resins, INSPIRE* performance polymers, and polypropylene (PP) resins. |
