Polish scientists have developed a method of deposition of a bioactive polymer coating on the component made of titanium alloy for biomedical applications. The increase in biocompatibility and bioactivity of biomaterials is achieved by electrophoretic deposition (EPD) of biopolymer (alginate, hyaluronate) coatings on their surface. The scientists are seeking a license and/or manufacturing agreement with an implants manufacturer, or a research institute, for in-vivo studies.
