Zerma: Shredding specialist starts production in Thailand

The shredding specialist Zerma Machinery & Recycling Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd ("Zerma Shanghai China"), which is under German management, has founded a production company in Thailand, Zerma Machinery Thailand. The new company is responsible for the production of side-by-side granulators of the GSL series for the domestic and global plastics industry. The official opening of the new production facility will take place on Saturday, April 22, 2023, combined with a vernissage by artist Jim Ulrich (jimulrichstudio.com). The production and sale of larger granulators and special machines will continue to be the sole responsibility of Zerma Shanghai China.

Zerma Machinery Thailand, which was founded on January 31, 2019, has acquired some larger halls with a total area of approx. 2,000 square meters in Rayong, located in eastern Thailand on the Gulf of Thailand, in which the production of the side-by-side granulators of the GSL series recently started. The existing production area also allows continuous expansion. A technical center for customer tests and a comprehensive warehouse for spare and wear parts are also available.

The working conditions in Thailand are also good, which ensures a sufficient number of highly motivated employees. For us, Thailand also offers optimal conditions as an alternative to China to set up and operate efficient production of high quality.
