A groundbreaking ceremony on 19th November marked the start of a new chapter in the history of Kraiburg TPE Americas. Over the last decade the US subsidiary of the leading manufacturer of thermoplastic elastomers with head office in Waldkraiburg, Bavaria, has recorded strong. This is now being recognized with a new production and administration building, as the present corporate headquarters in Duluth are approaching the limits of their capacity. Kraiburg TPE Americas is remaining true to Gwinnett County and is moving to Hamilton Mill Business Park in Buford, almost 30 km due north. Upon completion in 2016 the tailor-made building will accommodate production lines and 75 employees. The production capacity will then be increased from 6,000 to 10,000 tons. The new building in Buford is designed for growth. “We will have the capability and we will create 20 more jobs in the next five years. In the long-term, the facility has the capacity to double its original size as needed, and the future expansion will include enough space for additional five production lines”, said Franz Hinterecker, CEO of the Kraiburg TPE Group, at the groundbreaking ceremony.
