Ferromatik Milacron: Robert Burzler New Director Sales & Marketing

Robert Burzler (44, Photo) was appointed Director Sales & Marketing at injection molding machine manufacturer Ferromatik Milacron at the beginning of this year. Four sales teams operate under his management, each responsible for specific countries. A fifth sales team will provide sales support and is responsible for the shipment of machines. Also the marketing sector now falls within his remit.

Flatter Hierarchy Optimizes Sales Structure
The new sales structure has a flatter hierarchy and places greater responsibility on the employees, enabling faster response to customers and markets. The same advantages apply to the integration of marketing with sales.

During the course of restructuring the four sales teams were geographically reorganized and staffed with new personnel. "With Robert Burzler we have an experienced manager leading a team that is optimally set up and highly motivated to meet the challenges of the current difficult economic situation", says Guy Moilliet, Managing Director of Ferromatik Milacron. Robert Burzler has been with Ferromatik Milacron since 2000 - his first position was Product Manager for the MAXIMA series, then he was appointed Sales Manager for Germany and finally General Manager of Business Units ELEKTRA and MAXIMA. Prior to his changing to Ferromatik Milacron he was active for ten years in the plastics industry in the sales back office and in field service. Before this, Robert Burzler studied plastics technology at the Rosenheim technical college.

Winfried Stöcklin, the current General Manager of Business Unit K-TEC, will take over the management of Business Units ELEKTRA and MAXIMA, effective immediately. The previous Sales Manager Thomas Schwarzer and previous Marketing Manager Dr. Jörg Dassow left the company at the end of last year.
